I was quite proud of the costume I made for the Masquerade party this year. I went as Joan of Arc. I had intended to make my own chain mail aventail, but time got short and then the supplier was backordered on pre-made ones, so I ended up knitting one and spray painting it silver.
I think I may come up with an excuse to wear this costume again. The girls are making plans to dress up and go pub crawling for Halloween. Think I can get away with wearing a sword around downtown?
I think you should totally wear it downtown. That costume rocks!
